Supple Community Consulting
Conflict Consulting
Is your group entrenched in a known conflict? Is there an unnamed sense that conflict is impacting your team? Is there a past conflict that lives on in the life of your organization? In any of these scenarios, Conflict Consulting with Supple Community can help your group work with the tension and shift into a healthy future. Conflict can stagnate movement, but you can regain flexibility as a group and move back into readiness for action and creativity.
When necessary, Supple Community can also provide formal civil mediation services in the State of Minnesota (available fall 2025 and following).
Change Processes for Inclusion
Organizational change facilitation with Supple Community applies one of the processes available on this platform or offers a process curated specifically for you. Supple Community’s change work specifically aims for greater social inclusion and equity, using terms we find together that are meaningful to your group: Supple Community processes help you find your group’s voice and your unique expression of what thriving and social justice can look like. Organizational Change Consulting can be a brief part of your change process or a consistent component of your arc of change.
Trauma Support for a Group
Sometimes people think of trauma healing as a personal, individual thing. But harm and trauma regularly impact groups, communities, and organizations too.
You may be acutely aware of a traumatic event impacting your group, for example violence in your community or workplace, and looking for support in navigating with your group to a renewed place of strength.
Or you may be struggling as a group with a more vague sense of challenge or crisis, without clarity as to what specifically has overwhelmed your group’s ability to function: for example, there may be impacts from staff or board turnover, or a legacy of an individual’s harmful behavior, or a social condition that impacts many of your lives.
Trauma Support Consulting with Supple Community is never one size fits all: we will work together to find a process that serves you at your pace. Our goal is to bring you back into your strength as a group and as individuals impacted by a group. Supple Community’s framework for trauma transformation comes from a variety of restorative models, including Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience.
Group Mission and Vision
Vision and Plan Consulting with Supple Community involves getting clear together on what your group values and how you will move strategically into alignment with those values in order to make your intended contribution to the greater good. This consulting can boost any stage of your vision and strategic plan process or facilitate the process as a whole. Vision and Plan Consulting can also in its briefest form take the shape of a group building workshop or meeting for your group, helping you to check back in with your already established vision, or start dreaming toward a new future.
The Supple Community approach to Mission and Vision Consulting affirms your groups capacity for vital contributions to our world, with a facilitation style that centers social inclusivity and transformation, somatic awareness and embodied strength, and spiritual attention.
Supple Community Consulting Team
Anna Mercedes is the lead facilitator for Supple Community. You can read more about Anna here. For some group needs, Anna will consult for your group without a co-consultant. However, co-facilitation or joint consulting is a strong model for healthy organizational change whenever it is logistically possible. Supple Community works with consulting partners from nonprofit, academic, and faith-based sectors to build a consulting pair or team that fits your need.
Holistic Wellness for a Group
Guided by proven Mind Body Skills and grounded in spirituality and mindfulness, Wellness Consulting from Supple Community offers your team tools to restore your energy, increase your health at work or in your organizing, and thrive together. We can design a workshop or short consultation to fit your needs—even one staff meeting dedicated to wellness can make a difference! Or, you can contract with Anna Mercedes to facilitate a Mind Body Skills Group for your community.
